FOOD4FARMERS (F4F) facilitates the implementation of
sustainable food security programs in coffee-growing communities.
F4F helps coffee farming families, co-operatives, and community-
based organizations identify challenges, resources, and
strategies to build long-term solutions to hunger. They accomplish
this by working primarily with coffee-growing organizations to
coach and connect them with the expertise they need to
implement strategies, and the tools to monitor their progress
over time. They don't import a simplistic, one-size-fits-all model -
they help communities identify locally appropriate solutions
and strategies - and support them in managing their progress.
F4F targets coffee co-ops and community-based organizations
as the gateway to achieve food security because they have the
capacity to organize and educate farmers to take action
against hunger

women in all aspects of the coffee industry," the IWCA, from its inception, has remained focused on promoting possibilities for women in
coffee communities throughout the world. The IWCA offers an opportunity for social and economic empowerment.
